Ok tomarrow is THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! and i am soooooooo NERVOUSE! it is such a big school and only for 6 and 7 graders! but its just so different not having a home room teacher ya know? its my first time like just swithing classes and ..idk its just so stressful for me...i know i will get used to it so i really dont know why i am still SO nervouse! :( i will post after i am done with tomarrow..i hope i will make friends fast too. hmm i am super EXITED! but ya know i am also very nervouse. The name of my school is ''Tonaquint" it is an intermidiate school......well i love st.George! and i will kee you posted! ;) wish me luck!

so..yes we have been in the states for a while now!! but i have not done a blog post...oops. But a lot of stuff has happened and its been so fun! and my brother got engaged! yaay! and i have been hanging out with family..extended family..and of course my family family..haha but we move to st.george so soon! and i have girls camp with my cousin haley on tuesday!!

Well the day has already come...i had to say adios to my sweet awesome Costa Rican public school... :( i have become SUPER close with my class mates and it was SO hard to leave.I feel like when we move back there will always be that empty hole in my heart from missing them too much...i could NOT have asked for a better childhood experience! it made me realize how much i am going to miss them as they come up and squeeze me and say ''no te vayas'' (dont go) and my teacher gave a sweet speech about having me in their class this year..i am so grateful for all that i am getting to experience! :) ''DON'T CRY BECAUSE ITS OVER...SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED''

most of you may know... that i LOVE to sing and dance! and act! haha so i thought i would write a post about it! :) i also really love broadway and i love to be in plays! ...ok...well i have only done one.. ''ANNIE'' i played orphan HAZEL it was SOOOOOO much fun! i did it with my friend Lilla! :) i also will just belt out songs around the house..it is just who i am! :) lol....but really...it is! anyway i hope to do more plays when we move back! ok...well i am about to say somthing i thought i would never say while in Costa Rica.......the other day i was swimming in the pool when my mom called out: LORA! you got a package from your friend Chelsea! so i ran out og that pool faster than you can say hola! haha i have never gotten a package just for ME! :) anyway...in the box was.....SALT AND VINEGAR CHIPS!!!!!!! AND REESES! AND TWIX! AND HOT CHEETOS! AND SOUR GUMMY WORMS!! i was so happy and i still am. I am trying to keep it to a limite...i could have finished the bag today! if i wanted but i only got it 2 days ago...so i wanted to make it last! and it was the HUGE family size! haha. and the hot cheetos are just....GLORIOUSE! and ohhhh EVERYTHING i could not stop smiling! :) THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much chelsea!

If you are all wondering why i am freaking out over this stuff is because they do not have them here and they are like my FAVORITE things!!!!!!! well anyway...thanks again Chels! :)

Ok...i am doing this post for my friend Niky! it was her b-day on Wed. and she turned 16! SHE IS A VERY GOOD FRIEND and me and my family are going to her party tonight! Me and Emma slept over at her house on Wed. We had SO much fun! she is like a big sister to me. We have so much fun...haha even tho there is a 4 year age difference... :) but ..on TUES. we went out to dinner with her family and it was really fun. Then me and Emma went to her house for the sleep over.The next day we went to the beach..one of my favorites '' Playa Minus'' it is a BEAUTIFUL beach by the way! any way it was raining a little bit there toward the end...but it was even more fun with the rain! :) anyway...HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKY!

Well now....folks...let me just tell ya'll...I HAVE THE BEST MOM! and today was an absolute AWSOME mothers day! :) i am going to tell you 5 reasons why i love my mom! but there are WAY more!

1. she is so selfless.

2. she is ALWAYS wanting to help others and serve!

3. she is SUCH a loving mother and is so kind!

4. when i am sad she just gives me a hug and tickles me and taks to me until i am happy!

5. she is like me...and loves to keep the house clean and smelling good and wants to please us..her kids! haha ...acually i guess i am like her!

There is SO much more i could say! but i am just going to say 5 beacuase ...well you know...i could go on for yrs! haha. I am so greatful for her...OH! and one more thing...i love that her testimoney in the church is so strong. :) oh ok...now this is the last thing...HER FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! happy mothers day MOM! I LOVE YOU!

Well....our adventure is almost over... :) and :( these are my feelings but right now mostly :) . I really am going to miss this place! but lately my mind has been on.... ''salt and vinegar chips!!'' Honey,let me TELL YA! i LOOOOOOVE those chips! and you know what?????!!! they dont have them here...sigh.Well anyway we are leaving soon and i really am getting ancy to see the states!!! I had a dream last night that we moved to the states and i was crying! because it seemed like a dream! ....man...i feel desperate.

Anyway...my birthday was on Friday and now i am 12 !!! so last Sunday was my first time in Young Womans!! :) i am so exited to go to mutual on Wednesdays! ans this Summer i am going to GIRLS CAMP! i am so happy ! :) My party was really fun...we swam and had cake and ice cream and a piñata and i got SO much candy.....i need to discipline my self! Haha other wise i am going to get very sick. OH! and my friends cracked a RAW egg on my head! it is a tradition....they wanted to do 12 since i was turning 12,but my mom said no. But i agree! i maen a whole dozen eggs to waste?? well have a good day!

well ok here is the plan...we are coming home in one month!! I AM SO EXITED!! it can not wait!....it seems like the states is like a dream because we always talk about it! but its not! i cant wait until i can see all mis amigas. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO so greatful for this exprience here! i will always remember it, and i have made so many close friends .I cant imagen leaving...but then again...i can. haha I am going to ball my eyes out when we have to leave...Man.you just have to live here like we are know the love i have for this beautiful place! i LOVE it. and i hope to learn more spanish why we are here. but i guess that is also alot of studing on my part...ugh. I wish i could just know spanish when i snap my fingers! too bad thats not the way things work.....so i will try not to be lazy any more! Well i love going to school here and i know i am going to have to say to my family when this is over..'' I tend to go long periods of time without blogging! that is something i need to get better at! i will try to blog more! so if you still happen to be reading my blog hang in there! i am back! haha

Well this week has been awsome ...acually the last couple of weeks! My big brother Alex ,got home from his mission and it is so exiting to have him home! i have missed him so much.He is so awsome i look up to him so much.

well today we went to the beach " playa Minis" I really love that beach, it is SO beautiful! I love it here in Costa Rica. Everything just blows me away! the cool animles and the beaches, and even my little tico school. I have many friends there and they are all so nice! We have been taking lots of tests in school and of course they are in Spanish. My teacher is patient with me and i am happy for that...other wise i really do not know what i would do! i understand maybe...70 percent of the Spanish...so she helps me.

recently at my house for my brothers home coming, we had a BUNCH of people over and they killed a pig at our house! ohhh it was just gory.i mean we are talking hitting it on the head with a giant log...then stabbing it in the heart! not even kidding you! and i saw the WHOLE thing! it still makes me cringe.......i didnt know a pig could make such a loud noise either! he squeeled on the top of his lungs when they were just carrying him to the spot where ...you know .." IT HAPPENED "

Dolphin Tooth

On friday , we went to go pick up MARIAH !!!!!!!!! from the airport. It was a lot of fun! I was hugging her so much!! i am sooooooo glad that she here. On Saterday,we went to the beach......she loved it its a big change for her because he went from freezing cold to hot beach days!! we saw some pretty cool things on the beach......like a big dead sea turtle ,a little tiny dead sea turtle.....so cute,and a DOLPHIN SKULL!! we thought it was an crocidile skull but then we saw it was a dolphin....so COOL!! i pulled a tooth out of its mouth,so now i have a dolphin tooth! haha i like it.Its pointy and has this wierd black stuff at the top. We also saw two dead puffer fish...those we see often but are still pretty cool.
later that day we went to our branch christmas party!! my mom thought there would be like 100 people there....so she made 1oo cookies or more!! turns out there were only like 30..... 35 people, but the funny thing is, every crum was eaten!!!!!!!!! people would come up and grab like 10 cookies and walk back to there seats!! SO funny.This little old man came up and crabbed like 13 cookies and then put them in his hat and sat there and ate them!! haha i love that guy! his name is Philipe (fil-eep-ay).
On Sunday we went to church and mariah thought it was cute she really likes the branch. She came into primary with me so she could listen to spanish and english......my mom was the teacher.......so you know she spoke in Spanish and English well that was are few fun days and we are about to have MORE!!

ok well hello, so resently we had October and every one said it would rain all day every day......well that didnt happen,but now its November and its raining all day really hard for like 3 days now!! haha so it swiched i guess .But there hasnt been this much rain they say for 20 years!! and in San Jose there was a mud slide!! the houses slid down the mountain...and killed lots of poeple. so sad. well so today we decide to go to the beach and well what do you know, it starts pouring!! haha but we are having fun.
its really nice just to relax alot and play on rainy days. its awsome....it will be more fun when Mariah comes for a while in 5 weeks and 2 days and 17 hours and 12 min. haha kidding. only 5 weeks and 2 days. i miss her so much.
Also there are these bugs that are GIANT grass hoppers i mean GIANT!! there so creepy onelandedon abe and scrached him haha you should haveseen him freak out..haha well i love you all!!

nicaragua and josh!!

well as you may know we had to go to nicaragua because you have to leave every 90 days!! i mean it was sun but i didnt like all the bus stops and passport places but i did like the trip its self. we had so much fun!

we rented motor scooters and rode all aruond town. the island is beautiful. we rode the natural springs the water is so clear and felt so good!!!!!!!! it was so gorgouse there. we also stayed in a little hotel it was......ok.......but you know its nicaragua. well we also visited are old care takers and took them out to lunch! then we went to ward activity and when we came back they sent us an email saying they are getting babtised! but i dont think its afficial yet.

well josh has been here for a week he leaves today. so sad. well we have had a great time. we take pictures and went to the beach!! a lot. i have had a grand week! we also hadfun with his camera....haha

well i am now going to be home schooled! i am very exited! i will get my own desk in my room and so im going to love it.
well things are going good my sister mariah comes in about 3 months! i am soooooooo exited she is so awsome. last night we saw a HUGE frog the biggest i ever seen in my life! it was so cool it was as big as a plate. and abe got a really cool picture of a bat! like a perfect shot with its wings out.....they are so creepy! we also had a lot of people over for a church meeting it was our house this time so it was packed and we all ate dinner.i have not been to beach lately i think we will go soon.
last week my mom and dad and abe went to the temple, and left really early so we had to have our maid come spend the night and whatch us all day....it was different i had to only use spanish so i just had google translate pulled up all the time and it was fun she brought her little girl too. she is so adorible. well any way thats what i have been doing!

well....ok so i have been doing great! we have just been livin the life! we have been spending lots of time with the missionaries and they are so funto have around!

school is also ok,i am learning little by little more spanish.

on september 15 we have costa rican day it is a big holiday here! i cant wait ti see what its like.

every wednesday me my mom and emma and abram go to galatos a realil really good ice cream place.a really nice guy named peno sounds like(pee no)he brought us home from school and we went to get ice cream every day! he is now in italy for two months he has two kids that are our great friends and they came to say good bye theday before and we gave him an italian book of mormon he seemed really happy to have it! we have just been doing fun stuff and seeing cool things!

Freak of Nature!!

ok well last night i saw a freak of nature and my mom came running in saying my dad was going to catch a HUGE tarantula! i ran out to see it and oh my gosh!!!!! i have never seen such a gross thing i mean it is cool but i mean think about it, its a spider. even the name is scary. and when i was holding it i was so afraid it would jump around make me drop it and come out. but it didnt .....good thing. my mom was freaking out! i knew she was scared of spiders but not this scared! emma was in tears she was terrified. it was acually cool to look at it so close up ,very wierd but you could see its tiny teeth in the other pics that my dad took !well i better get used to seeing them so hopfully anyone who comes to visit isnt that afraid of spiders.

the MOST scariest time of my life!

well i really learned somthing today, you really shouldnt take ANYTHING for granit.because you never know when your life might end. because as you know, we have lots of beaches close by and lots of things happen. so we were playing at the beach and having a blast! when abram and me were body bording and the sea can be very tricky so as we didnt notice we were soosoo far from shore when he body boreds when all the sudden i get really really light headed and can no longer touch the ground of the ocean and there are huge waves and abes way up there and i am trying so hard to swim against a very strong current and its like i was swimming in place or i get pulled back more and more and im getting very weak and i keep spitting out water when i really know whats happing and that im feeling like my life is going to end right then and there.so i yelled for abe and he sees me and comes for me but he has the body bored and i think i might almost fainted because it is very vivid. and i told him i dont feel good and that i was weak. and he couldnt touch either and the current was very strong and i felt bad cause we were far and he felt responsible to keep us both safe.and huge waves would kind of helping but not much.the feeling that rushed through me was im out at see and very strong currents and im going to die thats kind of what i was thinking.i was trying to push even though i was weak. abe looked at me and told me he loved me so i said it back i was praying we would get back to shore and i can never even can tell you the fear we were feeling and finally we got to the shore and we walked over to are parents and told them everything!!!!!!! i am so greatful for all that i have and if abe wasnt there i probley would have gave up and drown. i love my family so much and im so happy to be alive !!!!!!! now i know the post sounds kind of cheesy but its the truth!

well my week has been pretty good,and church was really good suprisingly lots of the people there spoke some english like my teacher she helps me and emma learn spanish she will tell me spanish to have me figure it out but if i need help sometimes she'll tell me in english. me and emma are in the same primary class but when i told her i was eleven she kind of like sounded like i was to old for that class but i dont get that cause there only is one class for kids i think.
well we'v been going to the beach alot, and the other day we were at the beach and suddenly it got dark and it started to rain so here we are swimming in the rain and so we are getting ready to go home and it starts POURING and at that point i had a thin cover up that was keeping me warm at the moment but in a few seconds it was soaked.but it was a fun memory on the way home we saw a really cool crab.
well yesterday i stayed home with abram and emma while my mom went to the doctor with my dad.

well thats about it love loraloo oh! i also memorized the first article of faith in spanish.

ok.crazy crazy week.well....as you know,we were living in nicaragua. well yeah things have changed.now we are living in costa rica! and im sure my mom has coverd it all on her blog,but i want every one to know we are happy and LOVING this house !oh im having the time of my life.we have a beautiful beach really close by.and im exited for people to visit it will be so fun! well i will keep up on my blog.i wasnt keeping up as much as i wanted to in nicaragua,because we didnt have internet. well ....bye!

utah trip!

well me and my family went up to utah! i am sad because we had to say goodbye to Mariah.She is off to college now! I am so proud of her. Any way, I had a great time with my cousins! we did a lot of fun things! we went to a parade and I got to see the new toy story 3 .I loved it alot.Also, after a week with family we went camping and saw more of our family!!!! I learned how to drive the RANGER It is like a jeep.i also rode the four wheelers..We went on a BEAUTIFUL hike.I saw some amazing things!!!!we had lots of camp fires and I sang alot at them. OH i remembered! I milked a goat and drank its milk! I WANTED TO PUKE!!!!!!!! then over there was my cousin Amelia who loves it and drank two cups.I think goat milk tastes how it smells. well....I had a wonderful time it was hard to say goodbye.

I only have 2 more days left at home with my sister! She is leaving for BYU. I will miss her so much because she has been such a good sister to me. I am so proud that she made it in to BYU. I guess I am the big sister now at home. At least to Emma anyway. I don't think I can do it as good as Mariah but I will try hard. I know she will do good in college. I know she loves us still. We will have to skype her from Nicaragua! I love my sister!!!!

I dont think very many of you know, I was in the the play ANNIE!!I was an orphan Hazel.I had so much fun! it went really well.I have broken a lot more out of my nervous shell. WOW! today I got on to the computer and relized I still have a blog! I am hoping who ever sees this post will spread the word I am blogging again.Anyway I am sure a lot of you know I am moving to Nicaragua! I am kind of scard for it . The reason is Its doing ALL my fears and even gave me a new one.We are going to live on an island and if you dont already know I prefere to be land locked!haha.I also have a fear of going on plains and what do you know,we have to go on one for 8 hours!!! I also dont like volcanos, guess what? were living on an ACTIVE VOLCANO!!!I also dont like fish and we have to wash are clothes in the fishy lake! but theres positives right?My brother Abram, says I cant live in fear.For once in my life im acually agree with him ,but It will be such a good experience for us.I am exited some days then another I get sad.well...love lora

Today i'm going to do what one of my friends did a post about but not the very same.I'm going to tell every one how GREAT my friends are to me.First I will start with Courtney.Courtney is so funny when ever I go to her house we laugh SO hard we also laugh when she is at my house she's a REALLY good friend!! Now I will talk about Brenna.Brenna is so great to me and know that she would stick up for me because that's the kind of person she is she's a good example to me!! I havn't blogged for a long time.But I got julie for christmas! she is sitting by me right now. she was my favorite present. I got a big huge bear too and some clothes. and clothes and accessories for Julie.
Before christmas our whole family went to Mexico. I got lots of shells there at the beach. we went and had a bbq for a very poor neighborhood. and I got to go in one of their houses. it was not like ours at all! it had dirt floors and ripped furniture and it was really dark and small. all the kids loved us and especially loved Mariah. they all were happy. one of the dogs peed on our tire! there were tons of wild dogs there.

we went to Utah after christmas. we went bowling and sledding watched movies alot. we just hung out with our cousins. i kind of learned how to ripstick on my cousin Haley's. I can only do it for a few seconds without falling.

Today I'm going to talk about American Girl dolls.There is a American Girl doll I'm asking for for christmas her name is Julie.If you don't know what American Girl dolls are then I will tell you.There dolls that have nilon for there hair.All the big dolls have there two front teeth showing.Exept one American Girl doll named Kaya does'nt have her teeth showing.There are ather American girl dolls that are like toddlers.There is also baby ones.The American Girl dolls don't all have the same hair length or they don't all have the same hair color.But some of them might have the same hair color.Some of the dolls are just like you dolls.Just like you dolls are dolls that you can get that look like you.My friend Brenna has a just like you doll.The big dolls that are not just like you dolls are already named.The just like you dolls are dolls that you can name.

I have not blogged for a while.We painted are house.We only painted the kichin and are living room tan.Some of it is light tan and some of it is a darker tan. my grandpa put in shudders in the rooms. the shudders are white. We painted mariah's room tan too. my grandpa also put shuddders in her room. my grandpa only put shudders in Mariah's room,are living room and in are kichin.

I started school on August 11 and im having lots of fun in school! my teacher's name is Mr.Eyre. I had him in 3rd grade and im having him for 4th grade too! it's lots of fun to have him as a teacher!!! he's the best!!! I want to do a lot of science this year because I REALLY like science. We have this really cool loft thing in are classroom! and there is a letter that you can clime to get to the loft! and you can read up there! it's really really cool!!!! and under the loft there's a cool computer area. My Summer!

I havent blogged for a long time but I have done lots of stuff over the summer. I don't know where to start. But I'll start with when me and Brenna went to California. My favorite part was when we went on the California Screamin'. We got to go on it 4 times!! I wasn't prepared for the big shoot-off in the beginning and we went upside down. It was a blast! We went on lots of other rides too. It was so fun to be with Brenna becaus without her I don't know what I would do. She is my best friend and always there for me. We has so much fun at Disneyand. I got Mary and Burt's autograph from Mary Poppins. And I also got Mikey's autograph. We also went to the beach and jumped over some really big waves. We also found lots of sand crabs. Now I am going to talk about Utah. We stayed there for 11 days. And we visited lots of our cousins and family. We went to my grandpa's house and I GALLOPPED ON A HORSE!!! It was so much fun! We went camping to my granpa's property for the fourth of july. I rode a 4 wheeler! When we were leaving Utah, my cousin Haley got to come home with us! She stayed for 6 days. We swam a lot, it was so fun. Now I'm going to talk about our exchange student, Elvira. She is 15 years old and from China. She has been here for 3 weeks. She is very nice and we all love her! She is the funniest girl ever! Its really interesting to hear about China. And she speaks Chinese for us really fast and its really cool. She is really happy and really fun to be around. This weekend, we went camping with Elvira. While we were camping, Mariah turned 16. And we went on a really hard hike to a big huge waterfall. I jumped off it!!! it was so hard to swim against the current! But it was so pretty and fun. And now, i'm going to talk about this place called mighty mud mania that I went to with Haley my cousin. My best friend Brenna was there too. And we went on an obstacle course there and i went all the way underneath the mud. I was drenched in mud! But it was worth it cuz it was really fun. So now you know that my summer is kind of crazy. And everyone is starting school tommorrow except for me. I have about 2 weeks until I start school. And I am SO SO SO excited!!! And today, I was reading the comments on my moms blog about me singing and I felt so special that everyone was so nice to me. So thankyou everyone who left a comment. My goal is to be an actress but I will keep on singing too. You guys are all the best! And thats all for this post. Love ya!

Me and my really really good friend Brenna are going to california together!!! and we are going to disneyland and the beach! and were going to stay at her grandmas house. And we cant wait!!! and were going on the california screamin! which is aVERY fun ride! but I havent been on it but Brenna says that it is fun! and we are going on other rides to. And we are going to the beach! and we might make sand castles. And look for shells and maybe sand dollars! and we might jump over the waves! and play in the water alot. And we can look for crabs! and WE CAN NOT WAIT!!!! we will post more about it when we get back!!!

Today is Father's Day and I am so grateful for my dad. He is a wonderful person in our family!

5.he took me on a special daddy daughter date last week

We sang a song called He's a jolly good fellow for my dad today. We always sing that on Father's Day and his birthday. It always makes him laugh and smile.

I love my dad!!!
